Exposition à Orosei

Self-taught.

I have always alternated my work as a videomaker with photography and painting.

Since 1987 I held about 20 exhibitions in France in various locations and, more recently,three street exhibitions in Orosei.

I always find it more enjoyable to leave the digital world behind and embrace matter and its energy.

In these paintings, made in Orosei, I playfully explore the symbolic power of the circle in dierent materials.

As I thought about what Sardinia evokes for me, the theme of the circle gradually emerged.

Painted, carved or kneaded, this cosmic symbol of renewal can be found everywhere: in the hands of the potter,in the form of carasau bread, the nuraghe, and at the center of folk dances.
